Attire Guests are encouraged to dress resort casual during the day, with the exception of the golf course, which requires proper golfing attire. After sundown, resort elegant is recommended. This includes no jeans or gym shoes. Bring long pants and hiking shoes if you intend to hike. Swimming attire becomes handy to make use of the beaches and water in abundance.
Credit Cards
All major credit cards accepted in the hotels. Some local cash always comes in handy for sundry expenses.
Currency & Exchange
The US dollar is widely accepted and used on Canouan, along with the local currency of Eastern Caribbean dollars (EC$). A bank on the island provides exchange services for all major foreign currencies, cash and travelers cheques.
Photography
Only general consensus is required while doing photography. No serious restrictions to be known.
Public Transport
No taxi service is available on the Island. Cars can be rented, and local license is required to drive which can be obtained with a small fee. Driving is on the left. Boats yachts and planes can be hired for journeys to the neighboring islands.
A local driving license can be obtained on presentation of your driving license together with a fee of 50 EC$

Canouan Island is a safe place to travel. Traveling to neighboring islands should be done through hotels or travel consultants for your own safety and comfort.

US citizens must have a valid passport to fly to the Grenadines.
