DUBAI, 27th March 2008 – Fire & Ice – Raffles Cellar & Grill at Raffles Dubai received two recommendation awards out of three nominations, in the recent TimeOut Dubai Restaurant Awards which recognized the finest restaurants in the city.
The restaurant was nominated for no less than three different categories for “Best International”, “Best Steakhouse” and “Best Newcomer”, and was conferred the “highly commended” awards for “Best Newcomer” and “Best Steakhouse”, a testament to the restaurant’s outstanding culinary offerings, due to its unique dining concept and bustling atmosphere.
The judges of TimeOut Dubai said, “Fire & Ice – Raffles Cellar & Grill impressed us with their superb food and great service in a supremely dramatic setting”.
The prestigious gala dinner and ceremony, organized by TimeOut Dubai, was held at The Monarch hotel on 25th March 2008. Considered amongst the profession as a highly regarded event,
General Managers, Marketing Directors & Managers and of course the Food & Beverage teams from leading hotels in the city, gathered in anticipation of the verdict announcing the city’s finest restaurants.
The evening proved to be very successful for Raffles Dubai as The Noble House brought home the highly coveted prices for “Restaurant of the Year 2008”, “Best Newcomer” and “Best Chinese”.
