For the sixth consecutive year, travel industry leaders and peers once again acknowledge Raffles Hotel’s unique charm and inimitable service by conferring the 121 year old establishment with the “Best Luxury Hotel” award in the 19th Annual TTG Travel Awards 2008. The Annual Travel Awards Ceremony and Gala Dinner was held in Bangkok, Thailand.

Presented by TTG Asia, publisher of Travel Trade Gazette (TTG), Asia and China, Business Travel (BT) Mice China and TTG Mice, the TTG Travel Awards is one of the most prestigious in the region and seeks to honour the most celebrated luminaries in Asia-Pacific’s travel milieu. This award also serves as a benchmark for excellence as well as an indicator for the travel industry’s advancements. The “Best Luxury Hotel” award is one of the categories within the TTG Travel Awards. 

This latest accolade reflects readers’ confidence in the hotel’s ability to deliver an exceptional level of service excellence in her unique legendary setting, complementing the old-world charm that exudes from the luxurious suites to the famed gardens and courtyards.

Raffles Hotel was also again conferred Best Boutique Hotel in Asia-Pacific by readers of Business Traveller Asia-Pacific Magazine, Hong Kong, honoured as one of the Top 100 World’s Best Hotels by readers of Travel + Leisure magazine in its August 2008 issue, and voted Best Hotel In Asia by Ultratravel Magazine, a publication of the prestigious The Daily Telegraph from the United Kingdom in May 2008.
