Raffles Hotel Welcomes Jean-Marc Poli as Executive Assistant Manager, Food & Beverage

Raffles Hotel takes pleasure in announcing the appointment of Jean-Marc Poli as its new Executive Assistant Manager, Food and Beverage.

 

Mr Poli joins Raffles Hotel as a member of the Executive Committee Team and will lead the operation and management of Raffles Hotel’s 18 characteristic restaurants, banquet and catering facilities, as well as orchestrate the next episode of Raffles Wine, Food and Arts Experience.  He shall also guide the hotel’s dynamic culinary teams, sharing his knowledge and expertise in the hospitality arena. 

 

Mr Poli, a French citizen by birth, is a graduate of the International Centre of Glion, Switzerland and currently an active member of the local Japanese Business Association as well as American and French Chambers of Commerce.  His global career path has instilled an unparalleled open mind and great sensitivity in all his ideas and their execution.  Gifted with a natural linguistic flair, Mr Poli is fluent in English, French, Italian, Japanese, Portuguese, Spanish and will be receiving lessons in Mandarin, to add it to his notable command of languages. 

 

Prior to this appointment, Mr Poli was the Hotel Manager for Swissôtel Nankai, Osaka, and his other work experiences include leading the Food and Beverage team at Shanghai JC Mandarin; Director of Operations with Hilton Seremban, Malaysia; Executive Assistant Manager with Hilton, Maldives; and a stellar record of successful career expansions covering various properties in Maldives, Japan, South Korea and Taiwan, over which he had also nurtured various teams to garner awards and laurels.
