Raffles Hotel invites Raffles Grill patrons to set out on a culinary expedition across France without leaving Singapore!

From 7 to 25 July 2008, Chef de Cuisine of Raffles Grill, Jean-Charles Dubois, guides patrons along the cyclists’ route to partake in the renowned epic sport via a gastronomic tour.  Spanning three regions over three weeks, weekly menu transformations are created to reflect each region’s distinctive flavours as the tour progresses through France, highlighting the unique characteristic scent, taste and texture of each.

Experience a rewarding four-course lunch set in Celtic Brittany - 7 to 11 July, and beautiful Central and Southern France, 14 to 18 July and 21 to 25 July respectively.  Savour artful adaptations of each region’s local produce, enhanced with a selection of the finest wines indigenous to each region for an escapade like no other.

Highlights from each of the three French regions include Cold Brittany Cauliflower Soup with Smoked Salmon and Green Asparagus Tips; Cholet Pigeon with Sautéed Farmer Bacon, Gratinated Cocotte of Jerusalem Artichokes; Le Puy Lentils Velouté with Summer Truffles Infusion and Crispy Duck Leg “Cassoulet” with Pork Belly.

The One-Stop gastronomic Tour de France lunch menu is available at Raffles Grill at $85++.
