Raffles Hotel will once again be hosting the prestigious fundraising event of Singapore’s social calendar, its annual Christmas tree auction, for the 17th consecutive year. The Raffles’ Annual Gala Christmas Tree Dinner & Auction will be held on 25 November 2008 at The Ballroom, Raffles Hotel.
The much-anticipated soiree celebrates to the theme of “A Glittering Christmas” amid the festive spirit of the yuletide season. An elegant Western dinner specially prepared by the Raffles team of culinarians and complemented by fine wines will preside the auction. A dazzling display of six spectacular Christmas Trees and a fine selection of products and services, generously contributed by major partners, are set to inspire active bidding from the elite guests at the event.

Our shared commitment to spread joy to the less fortunate is the key focus to this year’s auction. Proceeds of the auction will go to the disadvantaged and needy, including four charities supported by the Community Chest namely AWWA Special School, Lion Befrienders, Samaritans of Singapore and TOUCH Ubi Hostel.
Previous years’ trees sponsors included Corum, Coty Prestige Southeast Asia, ING Private Banking, The Hour Glass, and ONE°15 Marina Club. A total of over three million dollars has been raised from the past 16 years, benefiting numerous charities.
