Next year’s extraordinary event in its 14th anniversary is scheduled to take place from 18 February to 22 February 2009. It will once again be a platform to showcase cuisine, wine and living par excellence that will capture the region’s imagination.
The annual culinary, wine and art extravaganza is highly anticipated and well received, due to the participation of prestigious vintners and Michelin Star-studded chefs, and also to the imaginative element of art represented by a leading artist that grace the event.
The gastronomy maestros that are especially lined up for the 14th Annual Wine, Food and Arts Experience include: Three Michelin Stars Chefs – Bruno Menard from Restaurant L’osier, Japan; Maria Luisa from Al Sorisso, Italy; Espoir Three Michelin Stars – Philippe Labbé from Rest La Chèvre d'Or, France; and Two Michelin Stars Chefs – Didier Elena from Château Les Crayeres, France.
Eminent wineries, champagne houses and distillery from world-renowned wine producing regions include Bordeaux, France – Château Figeac, Château Pichon Longueville Comtesse de Lalande and Château Haut Brion; Burgundy, France – Domaine Ponsot; Veneto, Italy – Allegrini; Reims, France – Champagne Krug and Veuve Clicquot; and Rech, Germany – Jean Stodden. World-renowned wine expert, Sylvain Ouchikh from France, will moderate the wines throughout the week.
The element of art is represented by virtuoso performer and veteran French Riviera pianist, American Jimmy McKissic. Blessed with expressive vocals and a mesmerizing flair on the ivories, Jimmy is a born artiste who radiates natural charisma and engages with his audience regardless of where he performs.
