Hotel De L’Europe Suite
The Hotel De L’Euorpe was Raffles Hotel main competitor until it closed in 1933. Older than Raffles for several decades, it stood at the corner of Seah Street facing the Esplanade.
The original hotel building was redeveloped in 1907 into an architecturally grand structure that rivalled Raffles Hotel. It was demolished in the 1930s when the present Supreme Court was constructed.
