Location.   Created by Albert Charbonneau, Food & Beverage Director at the hotel, Table JAAN is reminiscent of an outdoor living room found in the finest homes.  The Table JAAN experience: one table, by advance reservation only, only one seating per evening.  “Though Los Angeles has many stellar restaurants, at Raffles L’Ermitage we decided to created a singular dining experience set in a private urban garden,” Charbonneau adds.

Guests at Table JAAN are seated on comfortable couches in front of the fireplace on the restaurant’s newly-redesigned garden patio.  They’ll enjoy champagne cocktails and unwind from the day’s activities.  Before dinner begins they can glance through one of the books on historic Los Angeles, play a game of backgammon or simply indulge in the gentle art of conversation.  These are the best seats in the house so relax and enjoy evening.

The Signature Menu.  Each evening, Charbonneau creates a custom menu designed specifically for these elite reservations – five courses with signature items not readily available on the JAAN menu.  Entrée selection might include: Salmon or Sea Bass basked in Clay in a wood burning oven and finished with tomato, garlic, and basic and topped with cold press olive oil.  Salad selection:  Haricots Vert and Poached Lobster salad dressed with truffle oil vinaigrette.   Guests have the option of pairing each course with reserve wines from the hotel’s cellar.

Linger in This Private Haven.  As the evening continues, the candles are lit and luxurious blankets are close at hand to take away the chill in the air.  After dessert Table JAAN guests will want to linger over chocolates and petite fours in this private haven far from the frenetic pace of Los Angeles.  There’s no rush, the table is theirs for the evening.
