The Writer's Bar at Raffles L’Ermitage Beverly Hills has earned its reputation as ground zero for dealmaking in Los Angeles.  It’s no wonder notables form the entertainment, hi-tech, and fashion industries make the Bar a regular stop on their schedules for meeting clients, friends and associates.  The Hollywood Reporter said it best,  “The Writer’s Bar is a sophisticated spot where in-the-know, well-heeled industry types make deals and hang out with colleagues.  Metromix added, “Never enter the Writer’s Bar without a suit, a Blackberry and an ‘I run this town’ aura.”

The wall surrounding the fireplace features framed scripts from top Hollywood movies including:  Jaws, The Godfather (Parts 1 and 11), the Graduate, Good Will Hunting, Glory, Groundhog Day, The Getaway, and of course, Full Frontal.  Scenes from Full Frontal starring Julia Roberts and David Duchovny were filmed at the hotel.

The bar is arranged in seating groups for easy conversation; the music is soft; the lights are subdued; the fireplace is on and the outdoor patio is steps away.  The menu offers more than 40 wines and champagnes by the glass (poured tableside from the bottle) as well as signature cocktails including The Billionaire Margarita.

Many guests choose to enjoy the relaxed dining atmosphere in the bar.  The menu offers a variety of dishes to share and personal entrees including their new champagne By-the-Glass and Caviar By-the-Gram menu.   Late night dining continues until 1 a.m.
