"Last summer we had the pleasure of meeting you during our stay at Raffles-Beijing. My husband, Alan, our daughter Ally and I were visiting Beijing on a tour around the world, much of it in conjunction with Ally's involvement as a children's Ambassador. She represents the Art Miles Mural Program and the Esperanza Learning Foundation Youth Builders for Education.

Our visit with you last summer has had a profound, lasting impact on all of us, especially Ally. John, she was a winner in a speech contest recently where she used some stories you had told her while we were having tea with you. Again, she wanted to let you know she remembers so much of what you told her that day. She has recounted for so many people some of the stories you told her, and how it is so great that she got to meet another Ambassador such as herself.

Anyway, I would like to thank you again for the time you took with us. You are a big part of why Ally has chosen to continue to try to reach out to others who need help, and to speak out whenever she can to let people know there is something they can do. You are an inspiration to Ally, and she carries a part of your spirit with her wherever she goes"
