A welcoming haven of relaxation, Raffles Spa consists of eight individual villas, and two private spa suites in the nearby Villa Club. Hainan, China’s smallest province, is an island of 33,920 sq. km found in the southernmost part of China, just across the Gulf of Tonkin from Vietnam.

Getting Here

By Air to Sanya / Haikou
There are two airports in Hainan Island, Haikou Meilan Airport in the North (Haikou) and Sanya Phoenix International Airport (Sanya) in the South. More international airlines fly to Haikou Meilan Airport as compared to Sanya Phoenix Airport, which caters to primarily domestic flights. 

Sanya Phoenix Airport (Sanya) to Raffles Hainan : 60 km / 40 minutes via car
Meilan Airport (Haikou) to Raffles Hainan: 220 km / 170 minutes via car
An alternative is to take the bullet train from Meilan Airport train station to Lingshui train station with a travel time of just 70 minutes, operating almost every hour.
A car transfer from Lingshui train station to Raffles Hainan will take another 20 minutes.

By Train / Railway to Sanya and Haikou
Hainan island is also accessible by train with numerous routes highlighted below:

Guangzhou to both Sanya and Haikou Hainan stations
Beijing to both Sanya and Haikou Hainan stations
Shanghai to both Sanya and Haikou Hainan stations
Chengdu to Haikou Hainan stations
Changsha to both Sanya and Haikou Hainan stations
Xi'an to Haikou stations

By Car
Meilan Airport (Haikou) to Raffles Hainan: 220 km / 170 minutes via car
Sanya Train Station to Raffles Hainan: 55 km / 50 minutes via car
Lingshui Train Station to Raffles Hainan: 30 km / 20 minutes via car

By Ferry / Boat to Sanya Hainan
Ferries are another option, it is however dependent on the weather conditions.
This specifically applies during the typhoon season (July to October) when the boat services are often suspended for 1 to 2 days.
Common routes include Beihai and Guangzhou to Haikou and Sanya.
