Our Story
Arts Café at Raffles Jakarta is a captivating haven for art enthusiasts and culinary connoisseurs alike. Vibrant paintings adorn the walls, and diners are treated to a gastronomic journey to savour an array of international and local delicacies crafted by culinary maestros. From delectable pastries to sumptuous main courses, each dish is a work of art.

Theo Setyo
With a career spanning over two decades, Chef Theo brings a rare blend of global mastery and deep-rooted passion for Indonesian cuisine. His journey began in 1998 at Novotel Jambi and has since taken him to leading roles across internationally acclaimed establishments including Four Seasons Hotel Jakarta, Four Seasons London Park Lane, Al Murooj Rotana Dubai, Padma Hotel Bandung, and The St. Regis Jakarta. From Jakarta to Dubai, London to Yogyakarta, Chef Theo has held key positions as Head Chef, Executive Chef, and Corporate Executive Chef, building a reputation for his innovative spirit and dedication to culinary excellence.
Beyond the kitchen, Chef Theo is also an educator and author. As former Director of Culinary Academic at IONs Culinary College in Yogyakarta, he has helped shape the next generation of Indonesian chefs. His love for food as a medium of culture and creativity is also captured in two published cookbooks, where he shares his unique take on Indonesian flavors. From his role as guest chef for various hotels across the country to serving as food producer for MasterChef and Junior MasterChef Indonesia, Chef Theo’s impact has extended far beyond the pass.
