Our story
Living in a sacred city
Raffles Makkah Palace opened on 12 August 2010, in an outstanding location adjacent to Al Masjid al-Haram – the Grand Mosque at Mecca. Designed and constructed by London-based Areen hospitality, the hotel was created as part of efforts to modernise the city for today's Hajj pilgrims, while incorporating touches of local Saudi Arabian architecture and culture.
