Abraj Al Bait
The Abraj Al Bait is a complex of buildings constructed in Makkah in order to refresh the old architecture and city facilities. The main purpose of the complex is serving the pilgrims and creating comfortable modern environment.
The central tower building, called ‘Clock Tower’, has the world’s largest clock face and is the third tallest building in the world. The building is adjacent to the world’s largest mosque Masjid Al Haram. The complex houses an Islamic Museum, the Lunar Observation Centre and a large prayer room. An observation deck is available for visitors at the base of the clock.
Furthermore, Abraj Al Bait complex five-story shopping mall accommodates over 4,000 stores which feature a selection of international brands. The Abraj Al Bait shopping mall is visited by nearly every pilgrim while being in Makkah as it is an incredible place to do necessary shopping and grab a bite in its food court with a variety of food outlets including Italian, Indian cuisine, fast food and much more.
