The vital thing for the pilgrimage is bringing two or three sets of Ihram, each one of them includes two pieces of white unadorned cloth, either 100% cotton or light terry-cloth.
During winter take with you some warmer items because the temperature goes down during the nights and early mornings.
Besides pack three or four pairs of rubber slippers to use during Ihram, as well as comfortable shoes or sandals for walking.
Summer months are extremely hot with the temperature raising above 40°C degrees during the day.
All major credit cards are accepted.
