National Museum of Singapore
Welcome to Singapore’s oldest museum, dating back to 1887. Here, the country’s history and culture are told through a compelling permanent exhibition in the Singapore History and Living Galleries. Among the displays is a video montage depicting everyday life, playing against the backdrop of a symphony.
Additionally, throughout the year, the National Museum’s calendar is filled with innovative festivals and events, as well as thought-provoking blockbusters that showcase critically important collections of artefacts. All this is encased within a building with an elegant neo-classical façade, that sits alongside a modernist extension of glass and metal.
Distance from the hotel: 10 minutes by taxi
