Most of our event venues will be closed for restoration from 1 January 2017 and new, reimagined spaces will reopen in the middle of 2018 with a refreshed look and updated technology. In the meantime, East India Rooms and Boardroom 2 & 3 will be available till 6 August 2017.
The inspiration for the name East India Rooms was taken from Sir Stamford Raffles' British East India Company, the enterprise upon which Singapore was founded in 1819. The East India Rooms are a premier venue for banquets. Guests can meet, mingle and enjoy light snacks and refreshments in the adjoining Palm Garden before moving to the East India Rooms for special functions.

The Boardrooms in the main building serve as the prime meeting rooms for business travellers as the perfect venue for intimate seminars, meetings and workshops. They are equipped with comfortable cushioned chairs, high-speed Internet, as well as audiovisual equipment including but not limited to flipchart, whiteboard with markers and writing materials.
