A celebration of art

It starts when you first catch sight of the sensational Katara Towers, a powerful design inspired by the crossed swords of the country’s seal, a striking symbol of strength and grace. On arrival you are greeted by a swirling, mesmerising water feature, encapsulating the power and speed of the falcon spiralling. Throughout the hotel, the art collection alludes to the richness and brilliance of Qatar, with exquisite pieces waiting to be discovered. In the main Raffles Lobby, artworks reference the development of local craftsmanship, as skilful stone carving techniques have, over the years, translated to refined metalworking practices.

In addition to our artworks, we have curated a collection of more than 40,000 books, with first editions and timeless classics including Robinson Crusoe from 1785 and Moby Dick from 1811. Browse these and others in the Blue Cigar Writer's Lounge and in your private in-suite library.
