Эндемичные пальмы
На территории курорта были высажены несколько эндемичных и коренных видов растений с целью восстановить естественную красоту места, которое было уничтожено пожарами около 11 лет назад. Эти пожары привели к вырубке лесов, эрозии земель и повреждению побережья. С тех пор мы задались целью посадить как можно больше деревьев на этом участке, и с помощью TRASS («Terrestrial Restoration Action Society Seychelles») наша команда посадила более 200 эндемичных растений и внесла свой вклад в посадку более 1000 мангровых деревьев.
Реабилитация кораллов

Ежегодно по всему миру используется более 50 миллиардов пластиковых бутылок для воды, по всему миру разбросано до 8,3 миллиарда пластиковых соломинок, а в море плавает более 270 000 тонн пластика. На наших виллах нет пластика, а в нашем бутике продаются товары из переработанного пластика. Мы заботимся о сохранении окружающей среды и устойчивом развитии и придерживаемся экологически сознательной позиции в своей деятельности, в том числе предоставляя гостям возможность уменьшить углеродный след от своего пребывания, а также отказавшись от использования пластиковых соломинок и других бионеразлагаемых материалов.
Мыслите нестандартно
Проект Raffles Seychelles по очистке воды позволил внедрить на территории курорта линию розлива воды в стеклянную тару, что привело положительно сказалось на энергопотреблении и позволило значительно сократить объем пластиковых отходов. Пятиступенчатая фильтрация позволила курорту использовать альтернативные водные ресурсы. Вода поступает с горы на территории курорта и разливается в бутылки, обеспечивая экологичное решение для гостей нашего курорта и жителей архипелага. На сегодняшний день план розлива позволил отказаться от использования более 260 000 пластиковых бутылок общим весом более 130 000 кг.
С фермы на стол
Для наших ресторанов мы всегда приобретаем свежайшую рыбу и морепродукты у местных рыбаков. Практически 98% рыбы (за исключением лосося), а также фрукты и овощи мы получаем от местных фермеров. Базовые ингредиенты производятся на острове лишь в ограниченном количестве, поэтому мы вынуждены их импортировать. Тем не менее, мы пропагандируем здоровый образ жизни, по возможности закупая продукты у местных поставщиков и продвигая местные продукты во многих полезных блюдах в меню наших ресторанов.

Snorkelling the vibrant waters off the beach, you'll witness the remarkable coral rehabilitation initiative we've spearheaded in partnership with Nature Seychelles. This included the construction of coral nurseries and a guest snorkelling trail. You can join our staff and the marine experts from the NGO in maintaining the coral nurseries and even participate in planting new coral fragments, playing a vital role in restoring the health of these delicate ecosystems. The project is expanding to more than 200 artificial reef frames in 2024 to promote reef life in the area. Water scarcity is a global challenge, and at Raffles Seychelles, we’re committed to sustainable solutions. Our Water Purification Project not only minimizes plastic waste but also preserves the island’s limited resources. By introducing a five-stage filtration system and glass bottling on-site, we’ve reduced our dependency on external water sources and prevented the use of over 260,000 plastic bottles, saving more than 130,000 kg of plastic. Drawing pure mountain water from our own land, this initiative enables us to provide a refreshing, eco-friendly experience for our guests, all while safeguarding Seychelles' pristine natural beauty.
In 2019, our resort took a stand to reduce and then stop the use of disposable plastics on the island. Today, there is almost zero single-use plastic on-site. Each year, more than 50 billion plastic water bottles are used across the globe, up to 8.3 billion plastic straws are scattered around the world’s beaches, and there are more than 270,000 tons of plastic floating at sea. In 2022, we proudly sponsored the Aldabra Clean-Up Project in 2022, which collected 25,000 tonnes of plastic on the island’s beaches. Our villas feature plastic-free amenities and you can explore our boutique featuring stylish products made from recycled materials, such as fishing nets and sails.
