Raffles Makkah Palace is surrounded by holy sanctities including the Holy Kaaba and Al Masjid Al Haram. Makkah is the holiest city in the world and the dearest land in the vision of Allah (The Sacred and The Mighty).

Makkah is the heart of Islam and the place where the Prophet Mohammad (Peace Be Upon Him) was born. This is also the land where the first revelation was descended on Mohamed (Peace Be Upon Him) through the archangel Gabriel (Peace Be Upon Him) to start enlightening people’s minds and hearts about Islam.

Makkah is also called as: Umm Al-Qura (The Origin of the Cities), Al-Balad Al-Ameen (The Secure City) and Al-Balad Al-Haram (The Sacred City).
