ENERGY EFFICIENCY
Bath products in refillable containers; Optimised management of air conditioning and lighting; Significant presence of green energy in our energy mix;
WATER CONSERVATION
Installation of aerators in all areas of the hotel; Linen change after two nights or before on request only; Programmed irrigation system for our green areas and installation of drip irrigation;
BETTER MANAGEMENT OF OUR WASTE
100% of our recyclable waste is recycled in France OR Germany (coffee capsules); An on-site sorting agent to optimise the amount of waste recycled; Our organic waste is recycled through a composting system; Significant reduction in the number of disposable products; A policy of reducing waste at source.
GREEN MOBILITY
Bicycles are available for guests to use all year round; Our car fleet consists entirely of hybrid vehicles; Promotion of green transport for our event clients; Full reimbursement of the Navigo Pass (public transport) for all our employees.
BUY BETTER
Preference given to suppliers who deliver to us in reusable containers and who have demonstrated a commitment to CSR; Use a majority of eco-certified products (cleaning products, consumables and stationery); Increasing the use of organic, seasonal and local food; Avoiding the purchase of endangered species and taking animal welfare into account in our purchasing decisions and activities.
SOCIAL COMMITMENTS
Partnership with Les Déterminés, an association dedicated to developing employment and entrepreneurship initiatives in suburban and rural areas; Management provides temporary accommodation close to the hotel for new employees during their probationary period, provided their main residence is outside the Paris region; Participation in Duo Day, a national day to encourage employers to hire new talent with disabilities; Raising our teams' awareness of environmental issues and eco-actions, in particular waste sorting; Increasing our employees' knowledge and awareness of non-discrimination, anti-corruption and compliance with employment law and disability.
COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT
Donations of food and equipment to the association Hotels Solidaires; Soap recycling with the association Sapocycle; Recycling of corks with the association France Cancer. Participation in the "10km des Etoiles" run in aid of the Laurette Fugain association against blood and bone marrow cancer and Antoine Alléno association. Regular partnership with the Refettorio solidarity restaurant.
BIODIVERSITY
Use of natural herbicides and fungicides; 75% use of eco-labelled products for hotel maintenance; Preference given to local, non-exotic and non-invasive species in our green areas.

To reduce its impact on the environment, Le Royal Monceau - Raffles Paris invites its guests to make a few simple gestures during their stay:
SAVE WATER
- Take a shower instead of a bath;
- Turn off the tap when brushing your teeth;
- Report water leaks to reception;
- Reduce the frequency of linen changes by leaving a flyer in the room only when guests request a change.
LET'S SORT OUR WASTE
- Use the sorting bins provided in all public areas and on the floors.
CONTROL OUR ENERGY CONSUMPTION
- Turn off lights and televisions when leaving the room;
- Close windows when heating or air conditioning is on;
- Set the thermostat to around 19°C for heating in winter and 26°C for air conditioning in Summer.
