Raffles Le Royal Monceau Paris

Pierre Bonnefille exhibition

From 2 September to 7 October 2025, the Parisian palace will host an exhibition of furniture pieces created by the artist and designer Pierre Bonnefille in its lobby, curated by Jean-François Declercq.

Pierre Bonnefille

Born in 1958, Bonnefille lives and works in Paris. Having trained at the École Boulle and the ENSAD, he has spent nearly forty years exploring materials, light and colour. His work gives rise to surfaces that become spaces of inner resonance.

Over the years, he has collaborated with leading interior designers and prestigious luxury brands. His wall installations and in situ creations reflect a unique artistic language. He was named Maître d'Art in 2010 and honoured by the Académie d'Architecture in 2020. His work has been exhibited at institutions including the Guimet Museum, the Mobilier National, and the Horta Museum in Brussels.

Handcrafted in his studio, his works are distinguished by their vibrant and contrasting textures. They are inspired by nature and its forms and colours.

Design & Hospitality at Le Royal Monceau - Raffles Paris

Located in the heart of the capital, Le Royal Monceau – Raffles Paris is establishing itself as a key player in the cultural scene. By opening its spaces to artists, the Palace fosters dialogue between art, design, and hospitality.

This installation invites visitors and residents alike to enter the sensitive and poetic world of Pierre Bonnefille. Jean-François Declercq's scenography brings this collaboration to life, transforming the lobby into a place of discovery.

In this way, the palace reaffirms its purpose as a vibrant hub for life, encounters, and culture.
