Raffles Grand Hotel d'Angkor
Perfect stay
Very attentive staff and spectacular pool
Very accommodating staff from check in to checkout. The pool is very nice with great service staff. We arranged a cocktail party at the rear of the pool for our group.
Wonderful colonial hotel, perfect service and very well located (close to restaurants, centre)
Wonderful colonial hotel with a lot of grandeur, maintained to perfection, perfect and personal service ( We felt like king and queen, staff was waiting with our keys when we arrived in the hotel, they knew our names), stunning poolarea and garden, very well located (close to city centre, restaurants), breakfast and food in general was delicious. I felt sad when it was time to leave the hotel. Really enjoyed our stay there.
Beautiful room and pool
Spent two nights and wish we could have stayed longer. Hotel location was perfect with easy walk to local market with great bargains. Room was spectacular as well as food and the large pool
Lovely Hotel
Thoroughly enjoyed my stay.
Extremely friendly staff, a slight language barrier but didn’t pose a huge issue. The spa and wellness facilities were simple but the treatments were out of this world, I came out feeling like a new person as did my boyfriend. Food at 1932 was incredible, and the dining credits were a great addition.
Excellent stay
the important part was the details and the kind and friendly smiling staff....i loved the welcome letter / card i saw in my room once we came in...i have never seen this ever in my whole life...the fresh flower in the room was also a perfect touch to the room...also the fresh fruits...after a long travel it was nice to be welcomed like this...
Nice Location, Average Hotel
The location of the hotel is nice. It's close to the city center and walkable to all kinds of dining and entertainment. The hotel itself is fine. It's a historical building with colonial era decor. It's got a cool little elevator. Brunch was really good-- it came with free champagne and a nice buffet. In general, I enjoyed the food. But for the price, we had hoped for something more. This Raffles is in a country with very low operating cost and there is an abundance of affordable hotels in the same area. Since I doubt all the profit is being passed to the employees, the price we paid didn't give us value, compared to hotels down the street. There weren't any unique perks or distinctly cool vibes or anything that made this hotel *special*. I guess we're just paying for the Raffles name. But it was a perfectly fine hotel and we had a nice time.
Paradise
Everyone should stay at the Raffle once in a lifetime. The hotel is amazing and the staff is super gentle and kind. The food is perfect (and I’m Italian so I know what I am talking about). One word: magical
Classic elegance and charm
We were in Siem Reap to celebrate our son and daughter-in-law's Cambodian wedding ceremony. The Raffles was the perfect place to enjoy the time before and after the celebration. Extremely attentive and polite staff anticipated our every need. The charm of the hotel and it's "Old World" ambiance made for a very comfortable stay. We particularly enjoyed breakfast on the terrace, the Conservatory and the pool.
