Batik Hand Drawing

Batik is one of Indonesia’s most treasured art forms, recognised by UNESCO as part of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. The craft is created by applying hot wax to cloth and colouring it with dyes, revealing motifs that reflect nature, philosophy and cultural heritage.

At the resort, our Batik Painting Class invites you to explore this craft under the guidance of skilled artisans. Using a canting to draw wax patterns, you will create your own fabric design before bringing it to life with vibrant colours.

Minimum of two participants and a two-day advance reservation required.
