Raffles Jakarta embraces water recycling, transforming used water into a valuable resource through a meticulous filtration process that reflects our commitment to sustainability. Within the picturesque Hendra Gunawan Garden, this recycled water is used to irrigate the garden's plants and greenery.
Raffles Jakarta promotes energy efficiency through continuous monitoring, operational optimisation and preventive maintenance. Daily electricity, water and gas consumption are tracked through an internal Energy Monitoring Dashboard. Energy-saving measures include occupancy-based HVAC operation, LED lighting, motion sensors, guest floor consolidation during periods of low occupancy, and upgrades to energy-efficient kitchen equipment.
Raffles Jakarta takes a responsible approach to waste management through waste segregation, waste tracking with Winnow food waste management system and sustainable packaging solutions.
