Tree of Love

All our weddings end with a Tree of Love ceremony, where you and your partner plant a seedling in the gardens to symbolise your growing love for each other. Once the tree is old enough it will be relocated, allowing it to bloom and flourish among the flora and fauna of Praslin Island. Our Love Tree Garden is near the fabled ‘karo maryaz’, or ‘marriage spot’ in Creole. It’s believed that lovers who propose here will have a long and happy marriage.

License for the ceremony

Our experienced team will take care of the necessary paperwork so that you can relax and enjoy your ceremony on Anse Takamaka Beach or in the tropical gardens. We also host vow renewals and civil or symbolic ceremonies, bringing all of our creativity, care and experience to your perfect day. Kindly note that ceremonies are not carried out on Sundays or public holidays.
