Island hopping
From our calm location on Anse Takamaka, you can embark on a boat excursion directly from our beach. With many charter boats at your disposal, you can choose how to visit nearby islands, from half- and full-day guided island-hopping tours to taxi boat transfers that give you the freedom to explore independently. On La Digue, the smallest of the Seychelles’ inhabited islands, hike through plantations of coconut and vanilla to Source d’Argent – one of the most photographed beaches on Earth. Neighbouring Curieuse is famous for its population of Aldabra tortoises, while Aride Island is a must for birdwatchers, with over a million breeding seabirds.
Scuba diving
At Raffles Seychelles, we offer boat-based fun dives for certified divers as well as PADI Discover Scuba Diving experiences and courses. For the most spectacular reefs, book an excursion to the Coco Islands, where marine park protection since 1996 has resulted in abundant coral cover and regular turtle sightings. Night dives can also be arranged for qualified thrill-seekers.
Deep-sea fishing
Bucket list tropical species abound, including marlin, sailfish, dorado and yellowfin tuna. On the flats, bonefish are also much sought after, and with the help of our expert guides and purpose-built fishing boats, your chances of success are sky high. Specialist equipment is included, including fighting chairs and fish finders, for every kind of fishing from jigging to trolling and fly fishing.
