A magnificent atrium naturally illuminated by its soaring skylights, our Grand Lobby is where the refined ritual of traditional Afternoon Tea unfolds every day. Take your seat, as generations have done before you, between the original Victorian floor-to-ceiling pillars, for an experience of the utmost elegance and grace.

Dress code: casual chic.
Gentlemen are encouraged to wear collared shirts, trousers and appropriate footwear. Dress shorts are permitted during lunch. Ladies may be dressed in dresses, skirts or trousers with appropriate footwear. Slip-ons and flip-flops are not permitted.

The Raffles Afternoon Tea Experience
The refined ritual of Afternoon Tea originated, like Raffles Singapore, in the 19th century. At first an aristocratic British invention, the experience journeyed to Asia during the Golden Age of Travel, where it remains a cherished tradition to this day. Take your seat for the classic combination of wafer-thin finger sandwiches, home-baked scones, exquisite cakes and seasonal delicacies – all elegantly presented on a classic three-tier silver stand and complemented by a curated collection of teas and champagnes.
