Raffles is synonymous with traditional Singapore and deservedly so. The hotel is posh and guests are very well taken care of by attentive staff. Our stay was like stepping back into a slower, more gracious way of living and we thoroughly enjoyed being there.

I work in upper level hospitality management and even though I believe the hotel staff was very well intentioned, I'm not sure where the disintegration of their ability to transcribe their service took place. There was certainly a break between well-meaning and well-performing and it was quite obvious. It felt uncomfortable, the staff was not relaxed or well informed of the policies or how to procure to the needs of a world executive traveller. I felt like half the time I was having to do their job for them and that made me very frustrated, affected my ability to perform remote work onsite, and to be honest, I left feeling resentment towards your operation and sincerely disappointed for the management team and imagined its forefathers rolling over in their graves at the current state of affairs. I'll be in Singapore again this week and I'll be going back to my old stand-by, the Four Seasons. I would however, love to know where you procure your young Thai coconuts. Not to say all was bad! I wasn't going to write a review online and disgrace your establishment so I'm happy to share my grievances in this private platform in hopes that Raffles Singapore's legacy does not disintegrate. Overall a good stay
Really enjoyed our stay. Service and presentation was top shelf. The harp player in the lobby was incredible.
Excellent location with a very large suite and support from our Butler, Kimberly.
The property is indeed iconic. Beautifully maintained and a definite tourist sto. So be prepared for that.

Paradise in the middle of Singapore.
First time staying here and have been wanting to for a number of years (since their most recent renovation). I knew to expect perfection and it was close to that. Got a good package deal through the travel agent in Melbourne, Australia. Was wowed from the moment I stepped into the foyer by the splendor and beauty of the decor, the staff members' welcoming smiles, the ambience and the service. The room was more than I expected with everything that open and shut, controls via the ipads, motorised curtains and the butler service proved to be superior. Loved the welcoming cocktail and we thoroughly enjoyed it! I love the doormen and made sure that we had our photo taken with a couple of them. I would love to stay again and share this experience with another family member or friend but don't know how soon it will be. Thank you everyone.
