everything was great apart from the excessive charge on our pending account when this hickup was sorted all was wonderful
3rd trip to Raffles
usual excellent courtesy and guest focus. Usual high treats like the harpist. Not sure the new arrival process, efficient but impersonal, is better. Something has been lost by the card fill out and Singapore sling provision and the accommodating to the unique ambiance that occupied the previous first 20 minutes. Height issues of the pegs in the bathroom: lack of an ideal place for hairdryer and ability to sit at a desk to dry hair. Possible to sit on the bed to do this, a purpose specific vanity desk/seat would have been better. Were these rooms designed for basketball players?
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Raffles. We enjoyed the afternoon tea, delicious breakfast and drinks in the Writers Bar. We were grateful for the upgrade to the Courtyard room. While the stay was wonderful, it was overpriced and did not represent value for money. The checkout was very cumbersome as the contactless checkout actually created unnecessary confusion.
perfection made possible
smooth, attentive, discreet
We loved staying at Raffles. Best service we’ve ever received. Hotel was amazing.
From the booking, the welcome, the butler, the ambiance, the room .... it's all very good. We did expect a real limo so a little disappointed that it was a normal car. In the room we were looking all over for contact point to charge our phone and could only find one.
A Short Stay
Our 6th stay here but 1st since covid and the latest renovation. Whilst the staff we're terrific as usual we were disappointed that breakfast is no longer buffet style but we're hopeful that this is only a covid safety measure. Very disappointed to see that the Palm Court is not serving food during the day and that open air evening buffet no longer exists.
Another fabulous stay
My fourth stay at Raffles. I decided to try one of the studio rooms and I liked it a lot. The veranda is spacious and airy. Jiyeon helped me book the room. She's always very helpful. Breakfast service was a bit chaotic, again. I understand there's a staff shortage but I am not sure if other guests will accept that. For example, I ordered long back, but I was given flat white. I ordered orange juice but pineapple juice showed up.
Excellent and made extremely comfortable and cared for in all aspects. Hotel is impeccably and appreciate its historical heritage. Suites are offering all things comfortable. Restaurants are excellent as we dine at Hotel and do not venture out as no need.
